My name is Meely and I am 17 years old. I am a British poet who is trying to get a bit more publicity on my work. I write because writing makes me happy, and without writing, I would not be me. I hope you enjoy reading my poetry as much as I enjoy writing it.
My worth is not in
the shape of my lips
the curve of my hips
the curl of my toes
the shape of my nose
the size of my ass
the symmetry...
Temples are quiet places for forbidden kisses,
for moments in which the world does not exist,
but is collapsing, as if the giant holding us...
I hate summer.
Beach balls, exotic holidays, playing outside
No routine, all extreme, it makes me feel sick.
Maybe I'm a bore. Maybe I'm a...
I'd felt along the streams of scars upon her arms
And whispered, asking her, is she sure they are stretch marks
Only then did I realise...
What I've learn most about myself
Is people change, for better or worse,
But not me.
I seem to change but I am the same,
Same personality...
