Poems from Larsito
I'm a first generation american with parents from Norway and Perú. I've traveled quite a bit and have lived in Trondheim, Norway for 16 years. I currently live in Berkeley, CA. I moved here after a 30 year marriage ended in divorce. I have two boys aged 25 and 23. My work has been in teaching and healthcare sales. I've recently acquired a love of Haiku. I've always had a love for poetry and have written many poems throughout my life - maybe over 300. The Haiku style however speaks to me in it's direct and terse simplicity.
goodbyes hurt and sweet
sunflowers commanding hi
here now and later
forgotten words lost
birds of prey circle on high
remember those gone
steelhead falter not
chess pieces taken away
see who controls them
so dear a presence
autumn leaves drift softly down
and settle there
Spoken words heal soul
Autumn leaves fall and nourish
Living beings born
