Poems from DestinyAndrews
And I thought free would be to roam the unafraid
I thought freedom would be found on the next train
I thought freedom would speak as...
And I saw he was winter
But dressed him in gold and silver
Cold cracked within his veins
Heavy and dull he spoke
And I downed each word...
If the beginning is the sunrise
Then are ashes the end?
Or is the end the silence
Of men?
When does the light refuse to fill
And when does...
However lonely
Only is non-existent
You are not yet an island
You are not yet in silence
Nor will you become a blank moon
Keep your eyes...
I am still quite young
Yet am not untouched by age
And scarred by time passage
Or the secrets they tell
About for whom the bell may toll...
