I am 17 in my senior year of high school. In my life I've been through all kinds of traumas and seen what can happen to a person when the world suddenly decides to be against them. Due to these things, I refrain from writing happy poems because I have nothing happy to write about. Not surprisingly my favorite author and poet is Edgar Allen Poe. He was a brilliant mind and was very fascinating. I base my writing style off of his and hope to someday possibly be acknowledged like he was for writing dark stories and poems. But I can be happy. I often am. On my facebook page one of my friends hacks it everyday to write something along the lines of loving them. Always only to make me happy. I love Swing and Retro music. Two of my favorite directors are Tim Burton and Alfred Hitchcock. I plan to go to college to become an international businesswoman. That way I can still travel the world and make a living doing so.
