Poems from Apop Tosis
Can we ever comprehend
the abiding temptation
to reach out and touch fire
to bath in the incandescence
and I'm still not tired
my mind...
Your dulcet presence is a harbinger
the becoming of an imbrication
an insurgent hankering
for which only your skin can yield
and you are...
Mellifluous ideas and
quixotic inclinations imbue
our hearts fall in lassitude...
fires ignite as easily
as words intrude...
and you
with...
fleeting thoughts
and fugacious impulses
caught in wonder
drowning in this ethereal
finding I am beleaguered
my bed made of steel
still...
Men fall into disuse like machines
and I keep love evanescent
like some sexual soucriant
Fragile porcelain skin
evocative and carved...
