Poems from Alicyn
The tall ferns
Crowding against the trunks of the
Cedars
Flooded with green feathery waves...
Gather your friends
And everyone you know
Bring some food
Along with some drinks, too
Spread the love
Of your eternal happiness
Beautiful as a butterfly
Soft like the sea
Like a cat, she is sly
And everything like me
My calendar screamed at me
Reminding me of my deadlines
Urging me to flee
From all responsibilities
Barbara Bea borrowed a ball
The burgundy ball bounced
Bounced to a boy
Named Barry Burke
