We walk
Through the woods of my backyard
My fingers skim across
The rough bark of a tree.
I’ve lost sight of you,
But I’m not going...
She wasn’t alive when you were finished with her
You ripped apart, piece by piece
limb by limb
until she was gone
You didn’t start with...
Time seems fluid.
You and I are just floating through.
Time stretches on and on,
Until the day has ended...
