You,your words, your actions, and I

Can you hear the thunder outside?

Do you know what that is from?

My tearing inside of  my soul.

I attempt to make it through the summer.

That is my goal.

You don’t realize that all of your words hurt,

But I smile,

And give only you a smirk.

All of your actions,

Leave a bruise on my heart,

Can’t you hear the sound

As it slowly tears apart?

So maybe you should think next time,

that your words may hurt,

You better be careful,

Before somebody puts you under the dirt.
