About the birds and the bees
She is so immensed
But not in sex
No, no, please not that.

She's interested in
The conception and growth
Within the womb
She obsesses over it
For a year
Two
Three
And still counting
After nine years

She wants to be an OB/GYN
She is prepared to study
But knows it will be tough
She's excited to begin the task
Of learning in another world

It's nearly time to begin, now
But ready she is not
For she knows not
What lies afront
But she will make it
That she knows...

Ten years from now
She will be there
Working at an official place
She'll help people through
Pregnancy
And keep their lower half
Safe and a-oh-kay

It will be a while
And yet she knows
It will be worth it in the end
For if there's nothing
That she learned
But that dreams are meant
To hold your hand
And guide you to
Your future
