Your eyes

Beautiful of shape they are
They make me believe the world is right
Even seeing them afar
They tell me of your mind and heart
Their color is so vibrant and free
Nothing else could feel so true
The joy of having them turned to me
Is something you can never know
Specks of light seem to dance inside
And looking on them is a gift
I think for mercy I will hide
That without them I'd be bereft
