You make my life a fire

standing beside my doors, you yell

out as if you were a crier

You tell me to ring the bells

to alert others who aspire

parade me as a sort of torch

conduct the enlightened choir

you waltz onto the porch 

to watch the sun retire

strengthen me so I may quell

defeat and live to inspire
