You Made Me Love You

You made me love you

Just to hurt me in the end

You made me laugh

Just to make me cry again.

You saved me from myself

Then ended up throwing me off the cliff.

You lied and told me you loved me

When really, you couldn't wait to get rid of me.

You tried to make yourself the victim, covering up the tracks

Of you throwing me off.

You lead me, holding my hand, knowing my fear of falling.

You held me close to your body and reassured me that I wouldn't fall;

If I did you would be there to catch me.

Little did I know

You made me love you so you could tear me up in the end,

and throw me ashore, letting me hit the rocks at the bottom.
