You Always Knew

She comes hom with a smile on her face,

Nobody dares ask why,

But if you look at the joyous space,

There is sadness in her eyes.

She laugs to convince that she's okay,

Though they do not notice anyway,

Through her adverted eyes they stay,

The tears she's trying to blink away.

Noone speaks,

The sience grows.

She never spoke,

Yet they all know.
