To You

To you,
Nothing more than a simple brown
And then hidden behind those black rims you despise,
Yet those are the only eyes that keep me on the ground.
You hate going outside,
And though I've abide to this,
I've also tried to get you breathe that air in,
And let you know that these bugs dont only want your skin,
You dont talk much,
You let your fingers steal your speech,
And each day I long to touch the fabric of your clothes or even your skin
To hear that laugh you hide from deep within,
You've got an attitude that is just as strong
As your stuborness
And when you kiss...
Its like igniting a fire.
I'm wired and I can't think straight
You say that he was first,
But no, I just can't be late
Just friends...
We could be a whole lot more
And if the ball was in my court I'd show you all thats in stored with me,
You've got to breathe,
And I know it aint easy to have me fondling with your head,
Or sleeping in your bed,
Or painting you red,
But all that I've said is true
If I had to do anything for me to be with you
Then I'm ready for the test
And though I'm not the best
I've got a lot promised
To you
