You

We walk the harsh world searching, wondering

Is it even possible?

Does it exist? Is it out there?

If it does,

Is it worth it to give in to the feeling? To give up myself?

I am too afraid for fear of falling.

Then I found you

And I was never the same.

I can’t imagine this life without you.

With you, the world is crippling,

But without you, it is worse.

You make it bearable.

I thought I would lose myself,

But I have come to realize I didn’t give myself up

I relinquished the fear.

The same fear I once had of falling, dissipates

With you. Only you.

Without you I am less.

Without you I am broken.

Without you I am paralyzed.

Without you I am dead.

With you I can do anything.

With you I am perfect.

With you I can feel.

With you I am alive.
