you

your smell was hidden under my collarbones
trying to find its way out
crawling up my neck and out of my mouth
my friends even say i sound like you
they say when i'm asleep
i whisper your name
your smile was hidden under my lips
and sometimes i smile
just to remember yours
your voice was hidden in the back of my throat
climbing its way into the pit of my stomach
so i can get butterflies all over again
your blood was hidden in my veins
running its way through my fingers
just to keep me going
i'm so sorry i never left any traces on you
i wish you'd never forgotten me
