The Writer's Prompt

The truth is I make mistakes, I hang onto words and feelings.

I listen to the world and see it through my eyes everyday.

I see the mass of stories and their unique characters each look appealing and worth reading.

So, here is an excerpt of my own story.

As the main character I was fortunate to overcome the internal problem that tried to destroy me.

I am also the narrator in this work, so this is an actual account of what transpired.

It took me a few years to develop the sense of beauty in trouble and problems masked by lies and

cover ups.

I found out that the truth can be hurtful and twisted but it's worth fighting for.

I found out I have a gift for speaking to others and being there, no one was there for me. So I give my all.

I use to hide and keep everything to myself and no one knew. Now, the plot has changed and I'm telling

those around me.

This is what I say: I'm here, I'm alive, I"m fighting, I will win.

I believe in fighting for love and life. What is life without love? What is love if there is no life? Out of love for myself, I'm fighting for my life until the conclusion is written and we reach the end of my story.
