Would you, teacher?

Hey, teacher,  I have a question.

If you were the only source of life skills for your own kids,

would you teach them these lessons?

Would you make sure they knew how to write a check,

cook dinner,

or make their bed?

Or would you talk about the pythagorean theorem,

and stuff their brains with things they do not need inside their head.

I'm not going to question your methods,

I know the bosses tell you what to do,

and I know that you try.

But if someone was tell your kids they needed this stuff,

would you call it a lie?

You should only teach what you'd be willing to preach,

and I mean to the masses.

So if you wake up one day,

and realize the area of a triangle is not that cheif,

be the voices of the children,

and tell those bosses what we need.
