The fog has settled in
It swirls around my head
It's there when I wake up
And when I go to bed

I cannot plan my future
My mind is in the past
Nothing seems for sure
So nothing seems to last

The world speeds on by
But me, I'm in reverse
I couldn't tell you why
Only it just gets worse

The doctors give me pills
It's suppose to make me better
But it just brings in the bills
And makes my head light like feathers

I don't know what to do
I'm still stuck in reverse
Oh I wish I knew
Why I just keep getting worse
