Worn By The Marks of Abuse, To Find Love Within Solitude.

The blood drips down from the scar that was just created.
The rush of pain and anxiety, no longer subdated.
Her tears were dripping like soild rain,
Dreaming of the day she could rid herself of the pain.

She looks in the mirror disgusted every night,
But only to find relief in that cold steel knife.
Her fake smile is the only thing shown,
The numbers of scars on her body surely have grown.

This feeling of self hate was brought on by her lover
He tells her she's nothing and that he's above her.
He beats her until she is black and blue,
Because anger and hate is all that he knew.

He leaves her there cold hearted and on the floor.
And threatens to beat her even more,
Especially if she where to walk out that door.
He spits in her face with disgust and hate,
Well his foot seems to meet up with her face.

She gets up from the floor, broken beat, and bruised,
Her man left her there covered in the signs of abuse
She crawls to the mirror to get a glance of the marks,
Only to realize more of the pain in which he's embarked.

She struggles day in and day out with this hate
With no one to turn to, no one to help change her fate.
Feared to gain someone's devotion,
So that they to could treat her with such disgusted emotions?

But amongst the pain and sorrow hearts
A boy is hidden with his journey soon to embark
For he too has felt the pain,
Of abuse, of the angered, and the slain.

He's seen this girl in the gardens of his classmates
Sadden by the marks of discomfort and hate.
He's seen the tears drip from Her eyes
As the marks of abuse became her lullabies.

He feels a sense love towards this girl,
As if she could be the smile to brighten his world.
With a guided hand he gets the courage,
To help this young girl and rid her out if this forage.

She's scared at first to let this boy in
Afraid of the sorrow, afraid of the sin.
She doesn't believe in love you see
Becasue the man before beat her with a plea.

But over time he proves his love,
He's picks her up and doesn't shove.
He brings her a smile in her world of disgust
And help rid her of this rust.

She opens her heart and lets him in
Beacuse in her mind he's almost perfect, with out sin.
They guide one another to the standing rock
The place of securities, a place with a lock.

Forever will they stay by each other side
With love in the air and a place to abide
Because the curse had been lifted,
And to her surprise,
The love in her life was the reason she could see the sunrise.

They can finally stand to see their own face.
By his loving arms she feels embraced.
Here to survive to win life's race,
Beacuse they both found love in each others place.
Surging in the fortress of solitude,
Never to be shamed by some so crud.
