The Words on the Paper

I write you on paper,

you know my whole story.

You collect all my tears,

and give my name the glory.

The words that flow out my pen,

tell you who I am as a person.

You learn about my hurt,

and you make me feel good again.

My words are what heal me,

you know the tea you are given when you are sick.

You're my healing and comfort,

I am the story you see.

You notice how much emotion rolls out onto the paper,

you understand my pain.

My life isn't perfect,

but everything will be better later.

Our world
