The woman you don't see inside

I am the woman everyone knows

Someone who everyone sees

Walking down the halls

people greet me

What they fail to realize is the

Wall that's between us

Eyes that meet but don't SEE

The smile I wear is tired and worn

I can hardly keep up

I need somewhere to go, I need serenity

I struggle to find myself

I worry I am not being true

True to myself

I am the woman you don't see

The woman hiding inside
