proud and true.

And do so many things for you.

raise our children to be strong

make sure they know right from wrong.

I keep our home clean

Even protect you from the pain that  hunger and life bring.

I bring light and life into this world

I am  a working woMAN

who spends a short time caring for our new born babe;

Unpaid.

All the while I think of work and how i should've stayed.

But for am a single mother, no help for me

I cry at night thinking of the baby i have to struggle to feed

Even at work it isn't much better

A man gets paid more than I do because of two little letters

"Wo"
