Winter Stroll

Giggle graced lips,

An attentive eye taking in the life and joy currently engulfing the present world,

Cheeks under attack from the numerous hours of grinning.

Head  being tilted back, eyelashes fluttering from the first snowflake of the evening landing on the tip of the nose.

Eyes closing in content as feet begin to move in a slow and lazy stroll.

A heart bursting with the love and joy for the memory of the winter festivities.

A heart... one that also contricts with the realization that it will be missing those exact holiday festivities for the first time in its young life.
