Winter Inspires

On a snowy noiseless day
I stood still.
The world was white
like a dream,
the air was cold
like a dream.

On a snowy noiseless day
I lie upon the ground.
My limbs make angels
my lashes catch flakes
and I am in a dream.

On a snowy noiseless day
I will let go.
The snow will smother
and cover me, embrace me.

On a snowy noiseless day
I did not weep,
but rejoiced, for

On a snowy noiseless day
I came to love you.

On a snowy noiseless day.
