Winter

Winter-Stella D’Vine

In this winter’s tale I am always cold.

In this winter’s tale I am always alone.

Winter, oh winter

The harsh winds always in its hold.

Never rash but bold.

In this winter’s tale life takes a turn.

In this winter’s tale I am not alone.

Winter, oh winter

The intense snow does not hurt.

It is soft but still cold.

In this winter’s tale there is someone else.

In this winter’s tale the snow is about to melt.

Winter, oh winter

The ice is slowly melting, dripping.

My heart slowly beating.

In this winter’s tale I see him.

In this winter’s tale the tale is not so grim.

Winter, oh winter

Could it be that he is the key?

Could it be that he’ll set me free?

In this winter’s tale he is the delicate heat.

In this winter’s tale he is there but discreet.

Winter, oh winter

Bless me with the warmth of his touch.

Keep him in my clutch.

In this winter’s tale the ending is still pending.

In this winter’s tale time could be unending.
