Window Watching

A world inside a window
Foggy and distorted
We watch as it moves by
Fast and slow, stopping and going
All the while people knowing
Wherever we are going
The journey will end
Whenever someone sends
a thought into the world
It exits through a window
A view from a distance
Something that may come
All our hopes and our dreams
So far away
But if you send them out
Through a bright window
They may find their way back
If only you leave the window open
