With the Wind

Thu, 10/30/2014 - 21:48 -- Gray77

Location

The wind begins to blow

The trees start singing

A leaf gently breaks free

And so it is beginning

The leaf floats through the trees

Across meadows and fields

Into a farmers yard

And onto his windshield

As the farmer starts to drive

He hears the faint tapping

The leaf tries to break free

But only keeps flapping

Finally free with the wind

The leaf can fly higher

But lands in a trash bag

That wasn’t his desire
