The Wind

Cold room.

Howling wind.

A ghostly sound.

I hear a voice

Whisper my name.

It calls me.

I follow.

The open window.

High ledge.

The voice.

It becons me.

One more step.

I plunge down.

I hear the laughter if the wind.

It has tricked me.

I see the ground and the grass.

They are coming.

Closer and closer.

Faster and faster.

Rushing.

Stop!

The world is no longer moving.

I no longer hear the wind.
