I sit on my bed wondering

About life and things like pain.

Is pain real or is it something

That exists in our mind.

If life is an illusion

And death our reality.

Does pain exist, does is last long?

Long after the wound, the injury?

How long does pain last?

For minutes? days? months? years?

Pain keeps me rooted down on this earth.

But I have one question left.

Will pain last long after I'm dead?
