We fell into the masses

Only with fear in our hearts

We only needed a start

and we put our blood in glasses

 

We fell into the masses

because we were forced to

We lost ourselves in the Louvre

and we burned and crashed.

 

We fell into the masses

because we would be tortured or killed

for being ourselves due to our skills

and we had to throw them into the ashes

 

We fell into the masses

No one to help us out

They were too scared to run about

Too afraid to ask

 

We fell into the masses

knowing our fates in the end

waiting for that letter to be sent

to know our life were flashes

 

We fell into the masses 

with trembling hands

put into Time's sands

and having to put on a mask

 

We fell out of the masses

due to a certain few.

We thank those that need their due

That got us out of the ashes.
