why can't you see underneath my skin

Why can't you see underneath my skin ?

Why can't you see that I am human?

Why can't you see that I have rights?

Why can't you see that I can do anything that you can do?

The only thing that you see is the color of my skin.

Why does the color of my skin matter?

Why does the color of my skin can be more important than my personality for your judgement?

Why don't you try to know me before you judge me?

Why don't you try to know me before you kill me?

What did I do to you?

Why this hate?

Why this anger?

I am human just like you. I have the right to breath just like you do. So let me live my life without the fear of being killed because the color of my skin.
