Who I am

To this day I stand strong.

Faced with screamin, non-stop judgements, I have grown to stand up for what I want.

Accept me for who I am, I am not your true love, or your sex toy

I am a human being just like all the others.

A human being that wants to be free after being locked up for seventeen years with false

dreams that arent even hers.

I want to learn from my own mistakes, just set me free, free to go and do as I please.

I am me! Stop comparing me to the whole world, I am me!

I am not a pregnant 16-year-old, a drug addict, a school ditcher, or a slutty girl.

I am an 'A' and 'B' student, shy, silly, lover of math and nature girl.

I am Better...

I've always followed the rules and done what is expected of me.

It's sad how no one remembers all the good I have done, but if I made

one mistake that would define me for the rest of my life.

My soul screams for freedom from all the secret and lies..

Today I mark the start of a change.

Starting today I'll break down the walls blocking me from moving on forward.

I'll escape from the never ending darkness of what I call my home.

Starting today I will write my own story, in search of better hope.
