Who Am I? I'm Glad You Asked.

Wed, 09/09/2015 - 21:34 -- Echonul

I am a student by day

But a creator by night

The one that spins fables

And fights the good fight

I am a warrior's spirit

The tiger's eye's gleam

The one with a purpose

The one that dares dream

Is who I am now

The one I will be?

There is one who will answer that

That one will be me

When I have displayed

My stories and works

When I have defeated the villian

That in the dark lurks.

I'm a fearless man

A terrified child

A lion in anger

But a mouse when I'm mild

I've created worlds

Of wonder and life

Written tales of adventure

Of both love and strife.

It can be said

That I look to the sky

But even the clouds

Are lower than I

I ride life like a jet

Swooping, soaring along

I have lived, light and dark

Singing my song.

I do not give up

No matter the cost

There are times, I confess

That hope was almost lost

But I have my family

My loved ones, my friends

Who'll help me and guide me

To the End of all Ends.

I am what I am

I've become it, oh dear

From living a life,

With both courage and fear!

What can I say?

I am as you see

What I do for others

That's what makes me Me.
