Where I'm From

I'm from clothes, shoes, ipods, and iphones

Lip gloss, mirrors... I stay fly as them all

I'm from rice and beans, Prince Fried Chiken

Fast food to soul food cooking in the kitchen

I'm from "watz gud", "watz happinin", "watz poppin", and "chillin"

"Wat it do" "im OG", "how you do big pimpin'"

I'm from cracked sidewalks and tow up streets

Back yards filled with weeds and Fiens that can't stay clean

I'm from bangin parties that end when gun shots go off

Scared to leave the house because these streets aint soft

Man im from the Hood where the sun don't shine

Unless you watching the fire from your gun go off
