Where I Belong

This little voice in my head

It’s weak but is still holding on—

Not many left in the world

To speak up and show you how,

It doesn’t matter what you throw

It will still take on the blow

It’s one that doesn’t give in so easily

It won’t stop until you’re where you need to belong—

Though you don’t hear it, it’s there

One with strength won’t always win,

So place your bets and see

The one who thinks will succeed.

Little voice enters this void

Won’t stop until the end is finally starting—

Wisdom, hope, and love it possesses,

And it won’t stop until you’re where you need to belong.

So let the rain fall down upon this cursed land!

And let lighting strike and form the fire!

Its voice may be weak...

But it’s not giving up until you’re where you need to belong.
