When the Sun Shines

When the sun shines

We know it's time to go

Load up the trailer

Climb in the motorhome

Rock out to the radio

Count down the minutes until we arrive

Pay the entry fee

Put on the wrist bands

The track is sticky

The car is warm

The adrenalin pumps through veins

The emotions swirl behind brains

The burn out is long and smokey

The tree lights up

The roar of engines echo in the air

The whomp whomp of a car

The win light flashes on my side

Happiness lights up my face
