When it Rains, it Pours

Thunderstorms sent to water my seeds

Catching me in its streams

Stripes on my face

Waterfalls run down my eyes

Umbrellas sent to hide

Stay sheltered from the pain

Overpowered by these winds

I let go ...

I fall again

Beaten by these drops

Praying for it to stop

Pushed down to the ground

On my knees I scream

Skies calling on the heavens

Why must it rain

How did I get washed away

My seeds drenched

Stuck alone in ditch

Looking for Mother Nature

They call out

But lost I am

Drowned by these thunderstorms.
