When I Die

When I die, I want not to suffer,

I don't want to die in the water,

I don't want to die with a disease,

i want to die with ease,

I want it to be fast,

but I want it to be slow,

I want to live long enough to tell my man

how I love him so

i don't want him to die of a broken heart,

i want him to live with a new start,

and when he does die I will see him-

I will see him standing at the pearly gates

and will jump joyfully into his arms,

And tell him he's late.
