What Would You Change Scholarship Slam?

Blonde hair, blue eyed. White people

The world’s most prized possession,

The world’s face of succession,

But the world doesn’t see the amount of depression,

It causes other races through their agression,

Black skin, whipped roots. Black people.

The face of disgrace, and the most humiliating race.

Leads our generations into outer space.

A whole new world as Alice might say,

The needs of many not being met,

Mike Brown, Eric Graner , Travon Martin cases not set ,

instead they see it as a threat.

A threat to be heard, A threat to be seen,

A threat to be known as a human being.

It causes so much grief in the minority families,

They forget that we’re all a part of humanity,

Head spins, lives end

The homes of many are beginning to bend,

Bend out of shape,

Making minorites want to escape,

Escape from the reality of the world,

The world thats so coldhearted to its own people,

Repetition of our horrible history,

A sequel ,

When all we want to be is equal

Equal to those who are “ above us” ,

But its so hard to discuss ,

In a world where minorites just want to fuss,

About the things weve been through,

But not about the things the generations to come will bump into.
