What They Don't See

Why is it that rocks get thrown at those who bleed in secret

and those who ache are their own biggest critic

How the best smiles seep through pain

and those who only see the act cast on shame

Why is it screams so deafening can't be heard

and those who stone shall not be stirred

The man on the street recieves spits and scouls as he lie

though he was the man that covered from bombs and watched men die

The women seen as nothing but a warn and tattered anatomy

abandoned young by her own family

The boy who played all the girls and hearts he'd steal

only wanted love to feel

The girl who beat other girls cried of agony at night

it's not her fault she was taught to fight

The perfect girl with the perfect life came to a house big and  broad

empty rooms from top to bottom she'd give anything to be "flawed'

Most people are judged based on what people don't see

and now you see there's people out there like you and me
