What I've Done For You

Even though your lies were hard to hear

your tears were all too real to me

Every game you lead me to play made me wonder why I stayed loyal, faithfully

You never helped me when I need it most!

I thought that’s what we were supposed to do!

Shadowed by your image I lost the real me a long time ago

What have you say for yourself, what have you say that isn’t new!

I never got on my knees to beg

I was made a fool because of you.

I did things that made the angels weep one day, maybe two.

I took the blame for all that I didn’t do just to protect the one that wasn’t true.

The judge gave me five to ten for hurting the guy you said hurt you..

There go the lies again because it was you who hurt him!

His chances are slim!

He was my next of kin!

But I believed you instead of my blood!

This is enough to make my inner world flood.

Now you look at me and wonder why we were even friends.

The look in your eyes wishes I was dead.

You dare tell me I should be thankful for what you’ve pulled me through

Bitch, that doesn’t even compare to what I’ve done for you!
