What is it all for?
Sitting in a chair, facing forward
I wonder what am I doing here
shouldn't I be out in the world?
We are stuck in closed rooms
We walk down walls plastered in white
I've been here for fourteen years
Never really prepared
Imprisoned behind doors.
They told me, in a bink of an eye,
to leave and figure it out.
They try to mold us.
But when we don't fit the mold
They fail us.
Nothing is learned.
Nothing is taught.
But to be your own person
But sometimes that doesn't work
That's not what they meant.
Go back to school.
You're stupid.
You can't go anywhere without an education.
But when you attend
You just sit there
Wondering what am I doing here?
It's a trap.
