What the Heart Wants

The beast that needs no sleep is fear,

You know it’s near like a kitsune that’s ready to grid your gears

Only you never know how much destruction it will leave behind.

Don’t let that get you down, you just have to find the one thing that helps you unwind.

It can even be your favorite past time.

Music has always been my outlet even when I feel like a reject

It’s like a blanket of belief that I can curl up with at the end of a rough day.

I love to listen to upbeat pop to shake the stress away.

It motivates me to overcome my fears to be all I can be

So I can prepare to do it again whenever I need to let my emotions free.
