What do we See?

Fri, 03/10/2017 - 19:14 -- Erysian

We watch a sliver of our humanity trickle away,

every hour of every day.

Its gone in a flash, an instant

from the moment we grow beyond the infant.

We look coldly on the world,

on mayhem into which we have been hurled

and see nothing, do nothing

We are as blind as beggars.
