Webs of Sorrow

Sun, 10/10/2021 - 20:15 -- ajn

Through the darkness, we can hide,

They say their thoughts we must abide.

The eyes that once shed tears of sorrow,

Are no longer full of fears of morrow.

For living in bliss,

Means living in ignorance.

The way we see the world has changed,

The evil showing up deranged,

Not knowing who its enemies are,

The peace that reigns leaves such a scar,

On evil's chest that by afar,

You can see it gleaming there,

Like the webs of sorrow everywhere.
