We shine. We act. We perform.

Location

We are not just another club in the school. We shine. We act. We perform. We step out of the light and show people the other side of us. We can do more, but we just can't. No budget. No funding. The stage is cracked. The lights, dead. The costumes old. The mics, damaged. We do not matter because we can't win trophies. We do not matter because we cant make the school stand out. You took out all the band trophies and replaced them with athletic awards. You cut the arts program so much, that we have to pay for our own clay and supplies. We continue to beg for your help, but you continue to say no. Kids are on the street. More and more are joining gangs, because you cut the arts programs. We continue to plead, but you deny. But we continue to shine. We put on standing ovation performances. We sing our hearts out that people weep in the audience. We create paintings that tell a story. We play our instruments from sunset to sundown, till our fingers bleed. You may keep pushing us aside, but we continue to rise. We wont let you stop us. We shine. We act. We perform.
