As We Both Know

As we both know, it is clearly my fault.

I didn’t just cross the line, I leaped over; somersault.

I’ve danced around my true purpose, that’s why the conversation was long.

But I think I can express anything through poem or song.

You could be Cheech and I could be Chong.

Just take me higher than any crack-pipe or bong.

“Something random and bad” will hit me like a Chinese man does the gong?

Or will you hit me back-to-back like the paddle does in ping-pong?

Throwing barrels at me while I’m tryna climb to ya; Donkey Kong.

We need to be on the same path; two rights don’t make a wrong.

“So come on everybody lets go!”—and steal Dora’s map,

You’re all on my head, yeah, I’m calling you a hat.

But for these past few days, all I really wanted to say, like Cher Lloyd—

“I want you back, I want you back, wan-want-you want-you back, Urrghhhh!”
