We Are Nothing

In the absence of hominid sound,

I have faith that I can find solace in my laudable love of literature.

In the desolate darkness, I will become entralled by the piece,

Experiencing life through the lense of another.

Words are simply dashes and lines compiled in a myriad of forms,

Yet they hold more importance than any other man made creation.

When our world fades into the past,

Words are what define us and without words we are nothing.
