How do I live with myself

When I know that they are still out there.

Their cruel words and their thoughtless actions

hurt us all, but we will not fail. 

We will not give in to their hatred

that pours from their mouths like a water spout.

We are better than them,

able to do kind actions and speak kind words.

Our hearts pour love, and theirs hate.

But we will go on, knowing that they were wrong. 

We are not the ones who play with the heart,

rather give love to spreat to the heart.

After all, we are friends, not bullies.
